Physical Therapy Aide
Thinking about pursuing your DPT? This could be the perfect next step.
If you’re passionate about physical therapy and want real experience in an outpatient, private practice setting - not just the “cookie cutter” PT mill routine - keep reading.
We believe physical therapy should be engaging, personalized and impactful. We work with active clients and athletes and are laser-focused on doing PT the right way. Here you’ll gain hands-on experience, grow your skills and will see firsthand just how exciting this profession can be
Most PT aides we meet have only seen the dark side of PT - juggling endless patients and repeating the same programs day after day. That’s not us. At Next Level Physio you’ll build real-world experience in a model of care that’s dynamic, individualized and powered by cutting-edge technology, equipment, and the latest research.
Compensation starts at a competitive rate, with opportunities to earn more if you bring a personal training background or other relevant experience.
The Role
We’re looking for a PT Aide who brings a strong background in fitness and exercise, enjoys being around people, and can bring good energy to the team. Since we work with active clients, we seek team members who don’t just “talk the talk” but live and breathe an active lifestyle themselves.
We’re looking for a PT Aide/Coach who:
- Is coachable, confident and open to different ways of helping clients succeed
- Takes initiative and anticipates what needs to be done without being asked
- Is dependable, responsible and eager to learn
- Welcomes feedback and uses it to grow
- Loves fitness (background in training, CrossFit, triathlon, or competitive running a plus)
- Can work 3–5 days/week, including some Saturdays, at our Cary and/or Raleigh locations
- Adapts easily in a growing, fast-moving environment
- Enjoys community outreach and connecting with people
- Thrives in a team-oriented environment
Must-Have Requirements
- Currently pursuing or hold a degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or a related field
- Exercise or fitness background
- Ability to engage in friendly conversation with patients
- Ability to handle Front desk duties such as greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering phones, using Google Workspace and handling basic administrative tasks
If you've tasted the dark side of corporate physical therapy and are looking to restore your faith in the profession with a family-feel work culture, we welcome your resume!
